I have been involved
with photography for more than 20 years now. In 1996, I started
working with the alternative photographic processes of cyanotype
and VanDyke brown, later adding Polaroid manipulation. In 1998
I was taught the bromoil process by David Lewis at the Mt. Carrol
School of Applied Photographic Arts in Illinois. I have been
hooked on the process ever since. In the spring of 2002 I completed
my MFA at the University of Missouri in Columbia. My thesis,
Chasing Shadows, consisted of both silver gelatin and
bromoils of midwest venacular architecture mainly the old barns.
These are a few of the images from that show. |
